The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, May 14 reveals Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will get the brush off from Aristotle Dumas.
Also coming up, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wants to launch his smear campaign against Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Plus, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will continue to nag Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). And Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will welcome Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) to the family company.
Y&R spoilers tease Nate ask will Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) if Victor’s financing has come through yet. She’ll say it’s still in the works. “Why do I get the feeling there’s something about this arrangement you’re not telling me? he’ll ask.
Audra will say she wish he would stop being so suspicious. “I’ve got this, I can handle Victor. I come from the school of Tucker McCall.” The doorbell will ring and Nate will answer. Damian will be standing there with Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford).
Y&R Daily Scoop – Nate And Audra Give Amy Warm Welcome Home
“Welcome home,” Nate will say to Amy. Audra will greet her and tell her she looks great. Damian will say she must be tired and probably needs to rest. Audra will take her upstairs and Damian will ask Nate if he has anything to say about him coming to work with him and his family.
Nate will say he’s surprised his brother is considering this. “So what’s the deal?” Damian will reply. “You don’t trust me anymore?” But Nate will say he’s past all that and he’s just trying to protect his brother. “All I can say is welcome to the company.” Amy and Audra will hear it as they walk downstairs and Amy will be thrilled with the news.
At the Jazz Club, Phyllis will tell Victor she spoke to her daughter. “She’s in Milan right now, working on an incredible brand.” She’ll try to blow smoke up Victor’s butt, however, he’ll want to get down to business and find out what she has on Billy.
Phyllis will say she’ll give it to him, but she wants him to fund a business opportunity with her son. Victor will tell her she needs to figure out what she wants to sell him. “Then we can talk.” She’ll say she came to him out of loyalty. “I’ll just take this information to the highest bidder.”
“You know that I know that you have nothing,” he’ll reply. However, Phyllis will say she has info that can help him against Dumas. “I don’t need your help,” he’ll reply. “Don’t try to play me. Next time you come with a plan, know exactly what you’re doing.”
Meanwhile, Billy will walk into the GCAC and immediately get into an argument with Adam. But thanks to Chelsea glaring at him, Adam won’t take the bait, although it’ll be obvious he wants to. He’ll get a call and walk over to the bar.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Chelsea Asks If He’s Launching Attack
Chelsea will tell Billy things are not going to get better until he and Adam stop sniping at each other. However, Billy won’t back down and he’ll ask Chelsea if she’s already regretting her decision to reunite with Adam.
But she won’t want to talk about it. Then she’ll ask Billy if it isn’t exhausting, always being at war. “I will stay in my lane if Adam stays in his lane but that’s hard for him, because daddy is pulling the puppet strings on puppet boy,” he’ll reply.
Adam will return and ask what Chelsea and Billy are talking about. She’ll repeat part of the conversation they just had and it’ll be as confusing as it is boring. After Chelsea and Adam leave, Billy will sit at the bar and Victor will approach. “Billy, you got an answer for me?” he’ll ask. “The clock is ticking.” But Billy will tell Victor he doesn’t trust him. “So my answer is no.”
Victor will walk over to the lobby and get on the horn to Adam. “Son, I want you to release that Billy Abbott smear campaign,” he’ll say. Adam will say he’ll get on it first thing in the morning. Then Chelsea will walk over and ask if Victor wants him to launch the attack on Billy. But Adam will tell her he’s going to take care of it and ask her to trust him.
Finally, Phyllis will call the number she took from Billy’s phone. An assistant will answer and Phyllis will ask to speak with Aristotle Dumas. He’ll ask what it’s about and she’ll say it’s a business venture that has to do with Billy Abbott and Victor Newman.
The assistant will ask her to hold. Then he’ll return to the call and tell her he’ll let Dumas know she called. And he’ll hang up. Phyllis will start to have another panic attack and tell herself she’ll figure something out. But what?
